HAYS DISPOSES OF ANIMAL FEED INGREDIENTS OPERATIONS

Hays plc today announces that it has disposed of Hays
Ingredients Ltd and Feed Flavors Inc.

These businesses manufacture and distribute animal feed
ingredients and were part of Hays Chemical Distribution.  They
were purchased from Hays by The Braes Group for a total cash
consideration of £18m.  The proceeds of the sale will be used
to reduce Group borrowings.

The disposal of this non-core division demonstrates Hays'
commitment to concentrate on its main, service-related, core
activities.
