STATEMENT REGARDING HIGH COURT DECISION


The Court today determined that the legal proceedings brought by Consignia
against Hays plc should be deferred to a later date.

In the meantime, the process of Hays' application for licences under the
Postal Services Act will continue, and as previously stated a decision on the
grant of these licences is expected by early autumn.
