Headlam Group plc announces that on 5 June 2007 it purchased for cancellation 
502,500 of its ordinary shares at a price of 605.0 pence per ordinary share.

Following the above purchase the total number of Headlam Group plc ordinary 
shares in issue is 86,617,721.
