The Company was informed on 21 June 2001 that, on that day, under the rules of
the Helical Bar Profit Sharing Scheme, Helical Bar Trustees Limited purchased
10,300 ordinary shares in the Company at 870p for allocation at the same price
to directors and employees of the company.
