HELICAL BAR PLC ('Helical Bar' or 'the Company')
NOTIFICATION OF INTERESTS OF DIRECTORS AND CONNECTED PERSONS
The Company was informed on 10 June 2003 that on that date, under the rules of
the Helical Bar plc Share Incentive Plan (the 'Plan'), Helical Bar Trustees
Limited had purchased 13,350 ordinary shares in the Company. These shares were
purchased for award to directors and employees of the Company and using
contributions to the Plan by the directors and employees of the company, matched
in a ratio of 2:1 by the Company. These shares were awarded on 10 June 2003 to
directors and employees at the closing mid-market price on 9 June 2003 of 632.5p
in accordance with the Plan rules.
