Helical Bar sells City Development
Helical Bar plc has sold the 150-year leasehold interest
in their recently completed office development, 10
Mansion House Place, London EC4, to British Arab
Commercial Bank for £18.4 million.
The development comprising 35,000 sq ft (3,252 sq m) was
completed last month and BACB anticipate moving into
their new offices in January 2000.
Commenting Gerald Kaye, Director Helical Bar, said 'this
sale follows on from pre-lets to Slaughter and May at
Chiswell Street and Speechly Bircham at St Andrew Street.
Helical's next development to complete will be 100 Wood
Street in February 2000, which at 150,000 sq ft (13,935 sq m)
is the largest speculative development under
construction in the City. The sale of Mansion House
Place to BACB demonstrates the continued demand for high
quality office developments in the City.'
BH 2 and Ingleby Trice acted for Helical Bar plc and Jones
Lang LaSalle acted for British Arab Commercial Bank.
