HELICAL BAR SELLS £22.4 MILLION MIXED PORTFOLIO
Helical Bar today announces that it has sold a mixed portfolio of properties
to Antler Commercial Investments for £22.4 million.
The properties in Bristol, Bellshill, Leamington Spa, Lincoln, Sunderland,
Berwick and Stoke on Trent comprise office, industrial and retail trading and
investment properties. The portfolio has a passing rent of £1,813,480 per
annum and had a book value of £22.4 million at 31 March 2001.
The consideration for the sale was cash. This will be used to reduce debt and
increase Helical Bar's liquid resources.
