Close Period Share Re-purchase Programme
Helical Bar plc (the 'Company') announces that it has given instructions today
to it's broker, Cazenove, that effective from 9 April 2004, the Company will
commence an irrevocable, non-discretionary programme to repurchase its own
shares during the close period, which commences at the close of business on 8
April 2004, in accordance with Chapter 15 of the Listing Rules and Helical Bar
plc's general authority to repurchase shares as approved at the Annual General
Meeting on 23 July 2003 and the shares may be purchased until 21 May 2004
inclusive. The programme will be executed by Cazenove.
Helical Bar will be announcing its preliminary results for the year ended 31
March 2004 on 9 June 2004.
