The Company was informed today that the following transactions had taken place:



1.         Exercise of Share Options



On 13 January 2006 the following directors exercised options over new shares in
accordance with the rules of the Helical Bar 1999 Share Option Scheme.


Gerald Kaye                        97,827 shares at 88.50p per share



2.         Sale of Shares



On 13 January 2006 the following directors sold shares in the Company:

3.         Directors' Interests in Shares



Following these transactions the directors' concerned continued to hold the
number of shares in the Company noted below.

4.         Number of Shares in Issue

issue.
