Helios announces that on 8 January 2019 it purchased a total of 15,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company ("ordinary shares") at a price of 143 pence per ordinary share. The repurchased shares will be held in treasury.
This purchase forms part of the Company's share buyback programme, first announced on 25 May 2018, with the objective of enhancing net asset value per share.
Following settlement of the above transaction, the Company's total number of ordinary shares in issue shall be 14,915,962 ordinary shares (excluding shares held in treasury), each carrying voting rights. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules. The Company will also hold 188,278 ordinary shares in treasury, which do not carry voting rights.
