Announcement re fund raising

In view of the current volatile market conditions the Board of Henderson
Diversified Income Limited has decided not to proceed with an equity offering in
the immediate future.

Against a background of continuing turbulence in the markets in which the
Company invests, the Board of the Company, together with the Manager, Henderson
Global Investors, will continue to monitor the situation.
