PUBLICATION OF SUPPLEMENTARY PROSPECTUS

Henderson Diversified Income Trust plc (the "Company") has today published a Supplementary Prospectus approved by the UK Listing Authority. It is a regulatory requirement to publish a supplementary prospectus following the publication of the unaudited results for the period from 23 February 2017 to 31 August 2017.

The Supplementary Prospectus is supplemental to, and should be read in conjunction with, the Prospectus published by the Company on 3 March 2017 in relation to the issue of New Shares in connection with the recommended proposals for the redomicile of the investment business and summary winding up of Henderson Diversified Income Limited and the issue of New Shares pursuant to the Share Issuance Programme.

The Company issued 182,193,240 New Shares pursuant to the Scheme (which completed on 27 April 2017). The Board may issue further New Shares pursuant to the Share Issuance Programme until 2 March 2018.

The supplementary prospectus will shortly be available for inspection at www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/NSM at the Company's website at www.hendersondiversifiedincome.com.

Terms defined in the Prospectus published by the Company dated 3 March 2017 have the same meanings in this announcement unless the context requires otherwise.
