AMENDMENT TO APPLICATIONS RECEIVED THROUGH THE PLACING AND OFFER AND TO THE
ENTRY AND ISSUE PRICE



Henderson EuroTrust plc has been advised that due to current market conditions
there has been a revision to the total monies raised through the placing and
offer.  Approximately £30.6 million has therefore been applied for through the
placing and the offer.  The revised Entry Price is now 270.50p per  share and
the revised Issue Price is now 273.24p per share.



The reduction in placing and offer monies has had no impact on the formula asset
value and Exit Price previously announced on 2 July 2002.
