HENDERSON FAR EAST INCOME LIMITED 

The Company announces the allotment of 250,000 Ordinary Shares at 285.5p on 28 January 2010, each fully paid under its block listing facility. The net asset value per Ordinary Share at the close of business on 27 January 2010 was 275.8p.

These shares will be issued for cash on 2 February 2010. As at 2 February 2010 the issued share capital will be 91,930,564 and the number of voting rights will be 91,930,564.
