HENDERSON FAR EAST INCOME LIMITED (the "Company")

The Company announces the allotment of 100,000 Ordinary Shares at 343.50p per share on 3 January 2017, each fully paid under its block listing facility. The net asset value per Ordinary Share as at the close of business on 30 December 2016 was 333.3p.

These shares will be issued for cash on 5 January 2017. As at 5 January 2017 the issued share capital will be 115,385,564 and the number of voting rights will be 115,385,564.
