PAYMENT OF SECOND INTERIM DIVIDEND

Henderson High Income Trust plc announces that a second interim dividend of 2.075p per ordinary share of 5p, in respect of the year ending 31 December 2011, will be paid on 29 July 2011 to holders registered at the close of business on 1 July 2011.  The Company's shares will go ex-dividend on 29 June 2011.
