Henderson International Income Trust plc (HINT)

The Board of the Company is pleased to announce that the Company has received applications under the scheme, the placing and the offer for subscription for 41,500,000 ordinary shares (with 8,300,000 subscription shares attached). The gross proceeds of the issue will amount to £41,500,000 which, after expenses of 2 per cent., will result in £40,670,000 being available for the Company to pursue its investment objective.

The issue remains conditional upon the admission of the ordinary and subscription shares to the official list of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities. It is expected that such admission will become effective, and dealings on the London Stock Exchange will commence today, 28 April 2011. Following admission, the number of issued ordinary shares in issue and total voting rights will be 41,500,000 and the number of subscription shares in issue will be 8,300,000.
