DECLARES FIFTH INTERIM DIVIDEND FOR THE

PERIOD ENDING 31 AUGUST 2012

Henderson International Income Trust plc has declared a fifth interim dividend of 1.0p per Ordinary Share in respect of the period ending 31 August 2012 payable on 31 August 2012 to shareholders registered on 3 August 2012. The Company's shares go ex-dividend on 1 August 2012.

This is the fifth dividend to be paid by the Company in accordance with the Prospectus and since launch on 28 April 2011.
