HENDERSON INTERNATIONAL INCOME TRUST PLC

DECLARES FOURTH INTERIM DIVIDEND FOR THE

YEAR ENDED 31 AUGUST 2017

Henderson International Income Trust plc has declared a fourth interim dividend of 1.30p per ordinary share in respect of the year ended 31 August 2017 payable on 30 November 2017 to shareholders registered on 27 October 2017. This brings the total dividend paid to date in respect of the financial year ended 31 August 2017 to 4.90p (2016: 4.65p) and is to be paid from the Company's revenue account. The Company's shares go ex-dividend on 26 October 2017.

The Directors anticipate the Company will be able to sustain future interim dividends at this increased level.
