HENDERSON INTERNATIONAL INCOME TRUST PLC

Interim Management Statement for the period from 1 September 2011 - 30 November 2011

Henderson International Income Trust plc ('the Company') hereby states that with the exception of the information provided below no material events or transactions in respect of the Company have taken place during the period. 

Performance

During the period the Company's net asset value per Ordinary share total return was 2.9%. In the same period the Company's Ordinary share price total return was -4.8%.

Dividends

The first interim dividend of 0.6p per Ordinary share was paid on 31 August 2011 to Shareholders on the register on 12 August 2011, the second interim dividend of 0.8p per Ordinary share was paid on 30 November 2011 to Shareholders on the register on 11 November 2011, future dividends are expected to be paid on or around 28 February, 31 May, 31 August, and 30 November in each year.

Post 30 November 2011

On 13 December 2011 the Company issued 1,525,000 new Ordinary shares into the market at a price of 92p per Ordinary share which represented a premium to the par value NAV of 1.6%. As a result of the issue the share capital of the Company increased to 43,025,000 Ordinary shares of 1p each and 8,300,000 Subscription shares of 1p each.

Related Party Transactions

Since the launch of the Company, no transactions with related parties have taken place which materially affected the financial position or performance of the Company during the period.
