Potential issue of new equity capital

The Board of Henderson International Income Trust plc announces that with their advisers they are exploring the feasibility of making an issue of new equity capital with a view to growing the Company further. Any such issue would be priced so as to ensure that there is no dilution to the net asset value per share for existing shareholders. It is expected that the issue would be structured as an issue of "C" (conversion) shares and that existing shareholders would be offered the right to participate.
