                               Board Appointment


Henderson Strata Investments plc announces the appointment of Mr Malcolm Robert
King as a non-executive director of the Company with effect 16 June 2005.



Malcolm (known as Max) King, who is 48, has very broad experience in fund
management, not least of investment in UK smaller companies, and works currently
at Investec Asset Management.



Commenting on the appointment, George Burnett, the Chairman of Henderson Strata
Investments plc, said 'We are delighted that Max King has agreed to join our
board.  He brings a wide range of experience which will be of immense value to
the Trust'.
