Interim Management Statement
for the period from 30 April 2008 to 19 September 2008

Henderson Opportunities Trust plc ('the Company') hereby states that no material events or transactions in respect of the Company have taken place during the period.  

As announced on 23 June 2008, an interim dividend of 4.0p per ordinary share, in respect of the year ending 31 October 2008, will be paid on 26 September 2008 to shareholders on the register of members on 29 August 2008. 

The Company's Manager is Henderson Global Investors Limited ('Henderson').  Henderson announces the Company's net asset value per share on a daily basis and publishes a monthly factsheet on the Company. This and further information on the financial position and performance of the Company, including the market prices of the Company's shares, can be found on the Manager's website at www.itshenderson.com.  

The market price of the Company's ordinary shares is quoted in the Financial Times and other leading newspapers.
