Interim Management Statement
for the period from 31 October 2011 to 15 March 2012

Henderson Opportunities Trust plc ('the Company') hereby states that no material events or transactions in respect of the Company have taken place during the period.

As announced on 30 January 2012, and as approved at the Annual General Meeting held today, a final dividend of 5.00p per ordinary share, in respect of the year ended 31 October 2011, will be paid on 29 March 2012 to shareholders on the register of members on 10 February 2011.

At the Annual General Meeting held today all of the resolutions proposed were duly passed.

The Company's Manager is Henderson Global Investors Limited ('Henderson'). Henderson announces the Company's net asset value per share on a daily basis and publishes a monthly factsheet on the Company.
