Interim Management Statement
for the period from 30 April 2010 to 17 September 2010

Henderson Opportunities Trust plc ('the Company') hereby states that no material events or transactions in respect of the Company have taken place during the period. 

As announced on 24 June 2010, an interim dividend of 2.00p per ordinary share, in respect of the year ending 31 October 2010, will be paid on 24 September 2010 to shareholders on the register of members on 27 August 2010.

The Company's Manager is Henderson Global Investors Limited ('Henderson').  Henderson announces the Company's net asset value per share on a daily basis and publishes a monthly factsheet on the Company.  This and further information on the financial position and performance of the Company, including the market prices of the Company's shares, can be found on the Manager's website at www.itshenderson.comor www.hendersonopportunitiestrust.com.
