THE HENDERSON SMALLER COMPANIES INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

As at close of business on 21 November 2008, the unaudited net asset value per share calculated in accordance with the AIC formula (including current financial year revenue items) was 137.5p and the net asset value per share including debt marked at fair value was 129.6p. 

As at close of business on 21 November 2008, the unaudited net asset value per share (calculated excluding current financial year revenue items) was 136.1p and the net asset value per share including debt marked at fair value was 128.3p.
