THE HENDERSON SMALLER COMPANIES INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

As at close of business on 12 March 2009, the unaudited net asset value per share calculated in accordance with the AIC formula (including current financial year revenue items) was 155.5p and the net asset value per share including debt marked at fair value was 147.6p. 

As at close of business on 12 March 2009, the unaudited net asset value per share (calculated excluding current financial year revenue items) was 152.4p and the net asset value per share including debt marked at fair value was 144.5p.
