THE HENDERSON SMALLER COMPANIES INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

As at close of business on 8 December 2008, the unaudited net asset value per share calculated in accordance with the AIC formula (including current financial year revenue items) was 150.1p and the net asset value per share including debt marked at fair value was 142.2p. 

As at close of business on 8 December 2008, the unaudited net asset value per share (calculated excluding current financial year revenue items) was 148.2p and the net asset value per share including debt marked at fair value was 140.3p.
