THE HENDERSON SMALLER COMPANIES INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

As at close of business on 20 January 2010, the unaudited net asset value per share calculated in accordance with the AIC formula (including current financial year revenue items) was 266.7p and the net asset value per share including debt marked at fair value was 260.0p.  

As at close of business on 20 January 2010, the unaudited net asset value per share (calculated excluding current financial year revenue items) was 264.0p and the net asset value per share including debt marked at fair value was 257.3p.
