 THE HENDERSON SMALLER COMPANIES INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

As at close of business on 17 February 2010, the unaudited net asset value per share calculated in accordance with the AIC formula (including current financial year revenue items) was 261.3p and the net asset value per share including debt marked at fair value was 253.6p.  

As at close of business on 17 February 2010, the unaudited net asset value per share (calculated excluding current financial year revenue items) was 258.6p and the net asset value per share including debt marked at fair value was 251.0p.
