THE HENDERSON SMALLER COMPANIES INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

As at close of business on 17 December 2010, the unaudited net asset value per share calculated in accordance with the AIC formula (including current financial year revenue items) was 359.7p and the net asset value per share including debt marked at fair value was 353.2p.

As at close of business on 17 December 2010, the unaudited net asset value per share (calculated excluding current financial year revenue items) was 358.0p and the net asset value per share including debt marked at fair value was 351.5p.
