THE HENDERSON SMALLER COMPANIES INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

As at close of business on 28 April 2011, the unaudited net asset value per share calculated in accordance with the AIC formula (including current financial year revenue items) was 396.3p and the net asset value per share including debt marked at fair value was 392.4p.

As at close of business on 28 April 2011, the unaudited net asset value per share (calculated excluding current financial year revenue items) was 391.1p and the net asset value per share including debt marked at fair value was 387.2p.
