APPOINTMENT OF GROUP FINANCE DIRECTOR & COMPANY SECRETARY
Further to the Announcement made on 11th May 2006 (RNS number 7972C) relating to
the appointment of John Sutcliffe as Group Finance Director and Company
Secretary, the Board of Henry Boot PLC is pleased to announce that John will
take up his appointment with effect from 1st October 2006, with his predecessor,
Tony Cooper, retiring on 30th September 2006.
There are no details that are required to be disclosed in respect of his
appointment under LR 9.6.13R other than his directorship of Town Centre
Securities PLC (appointed 20th May 2002 and resigning on 29th September 2006).
At the date of his appointment he will have a beneficial interest in 5000
Ordinary shares in the Company.
