Hexagon Housing Association makes new management appointments.
Hexagon Housing Association has made two new appointments to complete the executive team.
Ali Jarar-Shah joined the association in January 2024. Ali is a qualified accountant with significant financial experience in the social housing sector. He has held roles with Catalyst Housing, Buckinghamshire Housing Association and was most recently the Director of Finance at Teachers' Housing Association where he was responsible for a range of disciplines including finance, IT, and human resources. Ali currently sits as Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at Innisfree Housing Association.
Ali formerly worked in the auditing field including a stint with one of the big four accountancy firms. He also worked with the Regulator of Social Housing where he led the process for designing and implementing the new financial viability assessment that is used to evaluate the financial viability of all registered providers within the sector.
Andy Vincent joined Hexagon in October 2023. Prior to joining Hexagon, Andy was the Corporate Head of Housing for Runnymede Borough Council. Andy has worked in social housing for over 26 years and has a strong track record for turning services around. He started his career in homelessness, and has worked in business development, managed repairs contracts, overseen capital works programmes, and led housing management services.
