Incremental Acquisition and Issue of Construction Completion Certificate
HICL Infrastructure Company Limited (the "Company", and together with its subsidiaries the "Group"), the listed infrastructure investment company, is pleased to announce the acquisition of the remaining 10.1% equity interest in the Sussex Police Authority Custody Centre PFI Project (the "Project") from Reliance Sussex PFI Limited, taking its total equity and loan note interest in the Project to 100%.
The Project is a 30 year concession ending in November 2032 covering four new custody centres in Sussex for the Sussex Police Authority. The total consideration for the acquisition paid by the Group was £0.53m and was funded from the Group's existing cash resources.
The Company is also pleased to confirm that the formal Completion of the Works certificate has been issued on the M80 Motorway DBFO Project. As a result, all the Group's investments are now fully operational.
