HSBC Infrastructure Company Limited (the 'Company')

Announcement of Interim Dividend and Interim Results dates 

The Directors of HSBC Infrastructure Company Limited intend to announce an interim distribution for  the financial year ending 31 March 2009 on Thursday 13 November and , as previously announced , intend to announce the Interim Results for the six months to 30 September 2008 on Tuesday 18 November.

At the Annual General Meeting of the Company in July 2008 shareholders granted the Directors authority to offer shareholders a Scrip Dividend alternative.  The Board intends that shareholders will have the choice of receiving the whole or part of the interim distribution in fully paid new Ordinary Shares of the Company and will also have the option of making a standing election for a Scrip Dividend mandate.

The directors have brought forward the declaration of the interim distribution ahead of the announcement of the Interim Results to enable the Company to offer the Scrip Dividend alternative and make payment of the interim distribution by 31 December 2008.
