Having reviewed a number of opportunities, the Board is pleased to announce that
on 13 October 2004 a subsidiary of Highcroft Investments PLC, Rodenhurst Estates
Limited, purchased a property located in Southampton funded by a combination of
own cash resources and a loan drawn down from a bank facility made available by
Lloyds TSB plc to provide the debt element of any property purchases in the
medium term.
The property is a warehouse unit, with offices, let to Metabo (UK) Limited under
a guarantee from Metabowerke Gmbh & Co. The value of the net assets acquired is
to be satisfied by a consideration of £2,350,000. The profits attributable to
the transaction are expected to be approximately £157,500 per year.
