AGM Statement
Hill & Smith Holdings PLC confirms that all of the resolutions set out in the
Notice of Meeting circulated to shareholders on 8 April 2004 were passed by
shareholders at the Annual General Meeting held at 10.30 am this morning.
In accordance with paragraph 9.31(b) of the Listing Rules, copies of the
resolutions dealing with items of special business will be submitted to the UK
Listing Authority and will shortly be available for inspection at the UK Listing
Authority's Document Viewing Facility at 25 The North Colonnade, Canary Wharf,
London EH14 5HS.
