non-executive director of the Company bought 3,518 Ordinary Shares in the
Company at a price of 84 pence per Ordinary Share.  Dick Richardson now has an
interest in 3,518 Ordinary Shares of the Company, which represents, in
aggregate, 0.01 per cent. of the total issued share capital of Hill & Smith
Holdings plc.
