HAMILTON, Bermuda; Hiscox Ltd has been informed that on 18 June 2009, Robert Hiscox, Director, acquired 1,846 shares in the Company at a price of 299.75p following the automatic reinvestment of dividends through an Individual Savings Account (ISA).

Following the above purchase, Mr Hiscox holds 6,487,910 Ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company, representing 1.73% of the Company's issued share capital.
