Grant of Options
On 13 October 1999 the Board of Hiscox plc granted options on ordinary
shares of 5p each as follows:
* 363,000 shares at a price of 144.5p under the terms of the Inland
Revenue Approved Share Option Scheme.
* 938,000 shares at a price of 144.5p under the terms of the
Unapproved Share Option Scheme
* A maximum of 795,000 existing shares held by Hiscox Holdings
Limited at a price of 117p under the terms of the Hiscox Performance
Share Plan. The terms of this Performance Plan were approved at the
Hiscox plc AGM on 6 July 1999.
Included in these grants were options granted to directors as set out
below:
