HOLDING IN COMPANY
Hiscox plc announces that it has today been advised that Chubb Investment
Services Ltd has sold its entire holding of 54.5m shares (representing 18.7% of
the issued ordinary shares of the company), which have been placed with a wide
range of institutional shareholders at 165p.
Robert Hiscox, chairman, said:
'We are pleased that the shares have been placed in strong hands. This removes
an overhang from our register and will improve liquidity. Hiscox is in robust
health, enjoying strong markets, and we look forward to continuing to make good
profits for our shareholders.'
