Total Voting Rights and Capital

In accordance with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, Hochschild Mining plc ("the Company") advises that, as at 31 January 2013, its issued share capital consists of 338,101,352 Ordinary Shares of 25p each with voting rights and that it does not hold any treasury shares.

The total number of voting rights in the Company is therefore 338,101,352 which is the figure which should be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company's shares under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
