Hollywood Bowl, the UK's largest ten-pin bowling operator, is pleased to announce the appointment of Julia Porter as an independent Non-Executive Director of the Company, and as a member of the Audit, Nomination and Renumeration Committees, with effect from 1 September 2022.

Julia is a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee of Safestyle UK plc, and a Director and member of the Board of Trustees of Worldwide Cancer Research. Julia also provides advice to leadership teams across public, not for profit and start-up businesses covering CRM, data strategy, business development and GDPR.

In her executive career, Julia was Director of Consumer Revenues for Guardian News & Media from 2012 to 2016, where she was responsible for delivering ecommerce and subscriptions and the development of CRM and customer data strategies. Julia held several senior marketing roles at ITV plc from 2006 to 2011 including Interim Group Marketing & Research Director. Julia holds an MBA from London Business School.

Peter Boddy, Chairman of the Company, said:
