HONGKONG LAND HOLDINGS LIMITED (the 'Company')

On behalf of the Company, we wish to advise that Mr James Watkins has been appointed as a non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 6th May 2009.

In compliance with LR 9.6.13R of the listing rules of the Financial Services Authority (the 'FSA'), the directorships in other publicly quoted companies held by Mr James Watkins in the previous five years are set out below:
