HONGKONG LAND HOLDINGS LIMITED (the 'Company')

On behalf of the Company, we wish to advise that Lord Powell of Bayswater has been appointed as a non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 19th June 2008.

In compliance with LR 9.6.13R of the listing rules of the Financial Services Authority (the 'FSA'), the directorships in other publicly quoted companies held by Lord Powell of Bayswater in the previous five years are set out below:
