NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTERESTS IN SHARES


On 19th March 2007 HKLH was notified by Jardine Matheson Holdings Limited
('JMH') that it indirectly held a total of 1,067,603,092 voting rights
representing 46.51% of HKLH's issued ordinary share capital.  These shares were
effectively held through JMH's controlled undertaking, Jardine Strategic
Holdings Limited.
