HONGKONG LAND HOLDINGS LIMITED ('HKLH')
NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTEREST IN SHARES

On 19th January 2011 HKLH was notified by Jardine Matheson Holdings Limited that the interest of its controlled undertaking, Jardine Strategic Holdings Limited, in HKLH decreased from 50.18% of the voting rights to 49.96% of the voting rights as a result of the dilution of voting rights following issuance of ordinary shares arising from the conversion of HKLH's convertible bonds on 18th January 2011.
