On 30 January 2006, John Stansfield, Finance Director of Hornby Plc (the '
Company') sold 30,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each ('Ordinary Shares'),
representing 0.08 per cent of the issued ordinary share capital, in the open
market at a price of 205 pence per share.



Following these transactions, Mr Stansfield holds 85,000 Ordinary Shares,
representing 0.23 per cent of the issued ordinary share capital, and options
over 250,000 Ordinary Shares with an average exercise price of 83.4 pence per
share.
