Director/PDMR Shareholding


On 6 December 2006, Hornby Plc (the 'Company') was informed that the Hornby
Employee Benefit Trust (the 'Trust') acquired by acquisition in the market on 5
December 2006, at an average price of 266.0p per share, a total of 66,765
ordinary shares of 1p each ('Ordinary Shares') representing 0.18% of the
Company's issued share capital of 37,621,030 Ordinary Shares. On the same day,
under the terms of the Trust, 173,854 Ordinary Shares vested and were
transferred to beneficiaries of the Trust, including certain Directors and other
Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility, as follows:

Following vesting and transfer of the Ordinary Shares held in the Trust, certain
beneficiaries (as detailed below) sold these Ordinary Shares immediately at a
price of 266.0p per share. As a result of the above transactions, certain
Directors and other Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility now hold the
following number of Ordinary Shares:
